Stephen McKenzie-McHarg
Managing Director

Steve has spent over 20 years in leadership and management roles within the fire and security sector. His trade background and management experience at State, National and International levels has given him a broad understanding of all operational requirements with previous roles including TYCO Operations Manager (Multiple states), TYCO AUS/NZ Product Marketing Manager, and Chubb National Field Operations Manager. He has completed a Masters Degree in Business Operations and a Black Belt in LEAN Six Sigma giving him a solid understanding of business management and process improvement.

In 2008 Steve established FS Solutions with a goal to grow a successful, client focussed essential services company. Built on the basis of integrity and responsiveness FS Solutions has become the logical choice in the provision of fire and security services across Canberra and the surrounding regions.

Dave Healey
Branch Manager

Dave started his career in 2000 in a technical role specialising predominately in the electronic security sector. He advanced rapidly into other areas of the electronics industry including; the installation of Network Infrastructure including copper and optical fibre, Digital Phone Systems including VoIP Networks and Advanced Access Control & HD IP CCTV Solutions.

Darren Cope
Business Development Manager – Commercial

Darren began his career in the construction industry working for reputable builders in the fields of labour management, materials coordination, WHS and site management. Darren excelled in the areas of time/resource management and contractor management whilst building long-lasting relationships along the way.

Darren joined FS Solutions in 2012 and his knowledge and expertise of working in various management roles for a principal contractor and also a sub-contractor, appreciating the stringent expectations of the ‘builder’, to maintain and build positive working relationships with existing and prospective clients.

Rodney Hayes
Business Development Manager – Government

Rodney has spent over 18 years in the fire industry covering Minor Works, Service Delivery, Estimating, Business Development and State Sales Management roles.

Excellent understanding of the fire industry combined with client relationships, local and surrounding regions sales focus and end user solutions.

Along with the fire he is also an electrician by trade having ran a local business in Canberra which has enabled the focus in business relations within the local business sectors help provides a solution for all products.

Joe Drew
Business Development Manager – Security

Joe Drew has worked in the electronic security industry for over 13 years and worked with many Government and Commercial clients, builders, consultants and electrical contractors over this time. Joe has experience with many systems including Gallagher, Integriti, Avigilon CCTV, and many other major electronic security systems including integrated security solutions. Joe has also provided Account Management services to major customers in Canberra and around Australia.

Jess Leet
Service Manager

After a career in administration and event coordination, Jess joined FS Solutions as a Project Administrator in 2012. Jess immediately showed leadership skills and very quickly focused on the improvement of service delivery. In 2013 she moved into a service management role.

Working with a field force in excess of 20, Jess ensures all servicing, minor works and maintenance is completed on time, with no fuss. All essential servicing is recorded and managed as per the relevant standards.
